As I mentioned, a friend and I was camping on Stockton Middle Ground and I'd like to report that the outhouse there is halfway washed out, like there is about a 10ft section before the outhouse coming from the campsite that is completely washed out and filled with blowdown and debris. What used to be a trail from the campsite is now really overgrown and almost unusable without boots and long pants. Also, why is the outhouse so close to the water????? this goes against what I've always understood where privies and outhouses should be. Jay Where do we post Hudson conditions? Launched friday late afternoon from the state boat launch at Coxsackie and spent 3 nights at Stockton Middle Grounds and paddled as far south as Catskill Point and then as far north as Mill Creek, explored catskill creek, Stockton Creek, etc. I can post a short trip report a friend and I did just this past memorial day weekend.
