Bob or Joan, as a registered user you can not only comment, you can make additions and corrections yourself. I've added Norrie Point.

There are listings under Local Resources for Atlantic Kayak Tours and for Atlantic Kayak Tours Annsville Paddlesport Center. There should also be a post for Atlantic Kayak Tours Norrie Point Paddlesport Center, Margaret Norrie State Park, Old Post Road, Staatsburg, NY 12580 (approx 4 miles north of Hyde Park). They provide rentals, retail, tours and instruction. The URL is:

I've replaced the URL for TKCNY. They are indeed alive and well, so head on out to City Island.

I’ve done some long-overdue housekeeping on the listings. Notably, I’ve removed two venerable but now defunct publications: AnorAK (Association of North Atlantic Kayakers) and Folding Kayaker Newsletter. The website for Touring Kayak Club of New York is not operational, but this club has been around for decades so I presume it still exists in some form. I’m leaving it intact for now. The web site for Jagger’s Camp & Trail Outfitters also is gone, but it remains listed in the Yellow Pages so it stays for now, too.
